Welcome to Happy Happy Mother's Day!
We embarked on this project as a micro-blog, like a food truck of the blogging world. We are pulling up, unfurling the awning, and blogging with the intention to serve up some awesomeness.
We're designing this site to be read on the run. Read it, pin it, share it: whatever you want to do with the content here, enjoy it and then carry on.
There is not much infrastructure here for organizing archives (see the search bar to the right if you're looking for something) or socializing via comment threads. There are plenty of full-service online groups and blog communities that serve those functions well. We'll post links to some of our favorites from time to time. Everyone is welcome to hang out here by the food truck, but when you're in the mood to sit down and share a meal with friends, just saying that there are more comfy places than the fold-up chairs here.
The irony about a blog-on-the-go is that the posts here don't look as fabulous on mobile platforms yet. We're working on that. In the meantime, you may have better user experience via our Pinterest boards.
In case you're wondering....
Why is this blog named happyhappymothersday.net? For the practical reason that the domain name was available. Also, because it's starting out twice as happy.
The downside of a common name....there are many other online entities with similar names. This blog is tightly integrated with our Pinterest account with visible, straightforward connections like using same logo on both platforms, and displaying our verified blog address on our Pinterest profile. It is not affiliated with similar names on Facebook, Instagram, etc. on other online platforms and social media channels.
